FUTURES
We are thrilled to announce our partecipation at an amazing and unique event: FUTURES!
FUTURES is a new type of museum experience, a centerpiece of the Smithsonian’s 175th Anniversary. It’s the Smithsonian’s first major building-wide exploration of the future‚ part exhibition and part festival. FUTURES will introduce nearly 32,000 square feet of new immersive site-specific art installations, interactives, working experiments, inventions, speculative designs and “artifacts of the future”.
For this special occasion the historic Arts + Industries Building (AIB), America’s first National Museum, will temporarily reopen this November for the first time in nearly two decades for the debut exhibition FUTURES. A unique, interactive and futuristic event in an incredible and historical location.
Our Capsula Mundi project will be part of this experience, along with so many other artists, scientists, inventors, with the aim to imagine new versions of humanity’s next chapter.
